this place so expensive, but eating them pizza up there from midday! and still waiting for pfefferoni pizza! spent 50$ buffets and had to buy even more to get full! very disappointed! View all feedback.
The service was satisfactory. The pizza, a Mazziose type, was decent—not the best I've had, but certainly not the worst. The biggest issue, however, was the lack of cleanliness.
I ordered two medium pepperoni pizzas for $5.00 each, calling at 2 PM to place the order. I was told they would be ready in 25 minutes, so I arrived at 2:30. I waited at the window for about 2-3 minutes before someone came over and said it would be just a few more minutes. After another 7 minutes, a different staff member finally approached, and I explained that I couldn’t wait any longer because I had to go to work. A man then came to the window and informed me it would be just a few more minutes. I reminded him that I had already been waiting for 10 minutes. I thought they had already put my pizzas in the oven, but I could no longer wait without being late for work. A few moments later, I received my two pizzas but was told that they were not on the house. Once I got to work and tried to eat, I discovered that there was no pepperoni on the pizza at all. So, after waiting 45 minutes for my order, it wasn’t even correct. This used to be my go-to pizza place, but now I think I’ll start looking for somewhere else.
I visited this restaurant twice, and both experiences were disappointing. During my first visit, I ordered a small pizza with mushrooms, pineapple, and bell pepper. They ended up leaving out the pineapple and only included one mushroom on my pizza. The second time, I placed my order an hour and a half before picking it up, but after waiting nearly 30 minutes at the drive-thru, I received the wrong order while dealing with a crying baby in the backseat. I had paid extra for a medium pizza with extra bell pepper and pineapple, but instead, I received half a pizza with mushrooms and half a pepperoni and pineapple pizza. To make matters worse, they sent me a sausage calzone instead of the jalapeño calzone I ordered. I’m done with Mazzio’s and won’t be returning. Kickapoo is far better!
I've said it before and I'll say it again: pizza is pizza, and you would really have to go out of the way to mess it up. That being said, the pepperoni and cheese pizzas were exactly as you expected. Let's talk about the supreme. In what universe is a supreme pizza just meat and green peppers and how sprinkling of onions, because that's what I got. Disappointed. It was ready when they said it would be though, so I guess there's that.
They did not have regular crust. But the pizza we had was still good.
