Battleview Market - Sharpsburg

This has become our new favorite spot for delicious, home-cooked lunches. They always offer a lunch special, and each one is incredibly tasty. They've also turned into our go-to place for convenient snacks and drinks.

We are new to the area and had a coupon. It took a little time but the fried chicken was so good and the workers are friendly. They deliver! Can't wait to try their pizza and sandwiches.

The food is excellent, as it always is. However, I was somewhat appalled during my visit yesterday. The cashier served several customers, handling both cards and cash without washing or sanitizing her hands. There’s a sign on the door stating that masks are required, with no exceptions. I witnessed her lower her face mask, lick her fingers, and then grab a plastic bag for an elderly woman.

Three 33-year-old women were asked to change their outfits because they didn't meet the restaurant's dress code. It seems like the dress code is quite outdated.

Charming little town shop with an extensive deli selection. My husband and I tried the Lincoln, which is a grilled ham and cheese—absolutely delicious! The staff was incredibly friendly. It seemed like we were the only ones whose names the cashier didn't recognize.
