We decided to take a trip to the city center to pick up some books at Second and Charles, and stumbled upon a restaurant we hadn’t tried yet: Chuy's. At first, I thought it was a revival of Chevys until I got closer and realized I had misread the name. Nonetheless, I was in the mood for some Tex-Mex, and it did not disappoint! The atmosphere was eclectic and vibrant—just take a look at my pictures. Cathy, our server, was fantastic and added even more charm to our experience. The food was delicious; we both ordered burritos—mine was chicken and my wife's was fajita. To say they were HUGE is an understatement! We ended up with plenty of leftovers and were thoroughly satisfied. Surprisingly, we were able to enjoy an incredibly quick meal on a Saturday evening in the city center. It was wonderful! I was tempted to buy a shirt but decided to hold off for now. I’ll definitely be back to grab that shirt and to bring friends who haven’t yet discovered this delightful dining spot. Highly recommended!

The silverware is sanitized and provided in sealed paper bags. The restaurant has a bright and colorful ambiance! However, the food was just okay. The chicken we ordered was overcooked and didn’t have much flavor.

Our visit was around 8pm on a weekday...shortly beforeclosing. There was no crowd, only a few other patrons inside on our visit. There was a small staff covering all thetables...our server was a mix of people including the bartender...the service was not lacking...everyone was friendly andpitched in to help! Our wait for food was a little bit lengthy for a not so busy time. We ordered an appetizer to go with thecomplementary chips and salsa. This location was clean and tidy showing nothing in need of repair...although it would be hardto spot as the decoration style would camouflage it ; . There is a large outdoor seating area available that is close to thesame size as available inside seating. We were a party of four with one herbivore and three carnivores, and the menu offeredplenty of choices for all of us . We ordered four different entrees, and with sides our entire table came to life! Our tablewas a food party, as it was filled with a colorful variety of foods and dips from my experience this is the pattern of manyLatino food eateries ; so if you are hungry Latino is a great choice. Easy to find anda short jog from the expressway. This location had plenty of parking, but no recommendation for large trucks with trailers orRV's. Our meals were fairly priced about 10 15 per person. I felt the appetizer a bowl of queso dip was a bit pricey forwhat it was, but it felt justifiable for the amount of chips and salsa that was complementary. If you're on a budget when theserver asks casually if you would like a bowl of queso or guac...pay attention ; . Overall the value food service ratio
