Customers have reported friendly and attentive staff, clean dining areas, and reasonable prices. However, some have experienced issues with overcharging, delays in food delivery, and unfriendly service. We waited over an hour for a quart of soup, jalapeño cheese balls, and mac and cheese. The waitress/bartender told us three times, "I'll go check," but nothing changed. We had called in this order ahead of time for pickup and were told it would be ready in 15 minutes. We even allowed extra time, but the wait was completely unreasonable, especially since the restaurant wasn’t busy. The service here has declined drastically; it used to be wonderful. To make matters worse, while we were standing there waiting for literally an hour for our order placed at 3:25, multiple people who ordered more than us got their food before we did. Frustrated, we finally walked out. This experience was absolutely ridiculous.
I called to order wings for pickup and asked if there were any specials. The guy said he needed to check with the owner, then came back and confirmed there was a deal: 12 wings for $10. Since we were initially ordering half a bucket, he told me it would be cheaper to take the deal, so I placed the order. However, when I arrived, they charged me a different price. When I asked about it, the girl said the special was for dine-in only. I explained that I had just called and been told otherwise, but she simply apologized and said it was dine-in only. It was very frustrating since I had just placed the order based on their information less than 20 minutes earlier.
Google reviews quite deceptive for this location. The initial post with pics showing food and environment make you feel cat fished once the dining experience is over. It appears as a grill and bar, but realistically is a dive bar at best. Parking is awful and non existent, restaurant is dingy, bathrooms don't even rival a truck stop (random out house would've been cleaner . Maybe the food is good for the area, but having traveled dined at a variety of locations, I wouldn't consider this place a second time. The bill was $39 and change, that include Appetizer: $6-$7 Fried pickle spears with ranch. Although crunchy, there basically wasn't a pickle and for 6 served 2 were decent and there wasn't enough sauce. Meal 1: $11-$12 Philly steak Bully bread that fell apart when attempting to eat. Meat dry and unflavorful. Couldn't taste or see peppers, onions, mushrooms or cheese. Was a decent serving size at least Meal 2: 13-14 Large chicken salad This was enough to piss you off Small serving, iceberg lettuce at best, barely visible add-ons (Tom, onion, cucumbers The chicken was extremely small in portion and pre-frozen. My date would have gotten more food if she had scraped the meat from my Philly. Beer: $5 IPA Paleo Draft tasted awful, not the drink itself, but you could tell they haven't cleaned their trap lines in months if ever. I'll be surprised if I didn't get sick from mold. I did answer the waitress honestly when asked my opinion. They offered another drink (why!! , then have me a wooden token for free beer to a place I won't return to. They did have a large selection of pilsner beer for the common brands. I won't go here again and don't recommend any one else to either. Poor food Dirty Cramped No issues with wait staff, they were great, except one. Vegetarian options: Vegas don't go Dietary restrictions: Don't go Parking: Even though not under construction it appears to be Kid-friendliness: Not at all Wheelchair accessibility: Sorry Mom, I wouldn't carry you in if your blood sugar was dropping to 0
Great plastic to relax and enjoy a great atmosphere!! Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
It gets a bit crowded and loud sometimes. Folks with hearing trouble will struggle here at times. But for a small local spot, they have some great food options. The lamb burger is delicious. And I think this place has some awesome wings as well. They have a nice small variety of decent draught beer as well. I absolutely love the Firehouse draught and this is the only local spot I know of to get it. The place could probably use to be redecorated, but I don't think anyone would like it if they actually did. Not so sure it would feel like the Keg anymore.
