Great spot for food with a view, very good service and a nice touch of historic appreciation thrown into the mix with the fabulously preserved old world pub and back rooms to view at your leisure! Definitely worth a visit, an ideal pit stop to sit and relax in. View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Lukers:
we had burgers, desserts and coffee. while meat was tasty on a lukewarm side. supermacs presentation and feel them at their meal. especially the plastic pain of mayo and ketchup. when they charge 16eur for a burger, I expect to be a little better than ballinasloe fastfood. coffee was delicious and apple cake really nice. Stop on a boat trip on the Shannon. Original Irish pub and bar with good kitchen. The building has charm and dates back to 19h. We had one and we'll be back.
Very nice place with taste food (burger, fish, florentine eggs
The third stop on our river shannon cruise, and the worst so far. When we arrived, staff seemed to just ignore us completely for ages. We eventually got service. The food was clearly undercooked, but we were just told that there was no chef, and we just had to accept it. This wasn't good enough. We wont be back, too many other places upriver to choose from.
Welcoming, spacious venue. Menu is largely pub grub but with some more interesting items. Portions were huge (as is normal hereabouts). Food was all enjoyed. Service was effective and welcoming-enough and at decent speed.
Can’t fault Lukers. Food , staff and venue all top notch! Love the old bar The Boatyard beer garden out back perfect for gigs!
