My only criticism is that the food was packaged in bags, causing the fish and chips to sweat during the short trip home, which was less than 10 minutes, resulting in a bit of a mess on the table.

The fish was incredibly delicious—definitely worth the price—and it was wonderfully flaky. The chips were also excellent. It was a bit unusual to eat out of bags, which made it somewhat tricky to enjoy our meal on the promenade, but we quickly adjusted. The curry sauce, however, was a letdown—it was a bit watery and lacked flavor. Don’t let that discourage you from eating here, though. The wait time was a bit long since it was busy, but that just shows how popular the food is. The staff was really friendly, which added to the positive experience. Overall, a great place to grab a meal!

This place is a favorite among the locals. They even have special offers for guests over 60, and if you give 30 minutes' notice, they offer a separate Coeliac menu. You can enjoy your meal on-site or take it away. The chips are cooked in the traditional way using beef dripping. Be sure to check out the menu copies. We thoroughly enjoyed all our meals!
