This is right at Jingan Temple station exit 2. They stock a lot of imported goods, I went to get a certain brand of Japanese soy milk stumbled upon a freezer of unli-meat products, I bought the nuggets Hungarian sausages to try. In my search for tofu I also found this Korean soybean dip reduced to 6rmb. View all feedback.
What MaeMackenzie doesn't like about Freshmart Supermarket Sogo Jiu Guang:
Had some good options for snacks and easy meals like instant noodles. Also had a good selection of fresh fruit and vegetables. I wasn’t blown away but it was decent. Pretty expensive though. View all feedback.

I cannot believe that the first and only review from over 10 years ago is still accurate 100%. This place is packed with tourists and foreigners due to its location and even though it offers a large variety of ínternational products (primarly Japanese, Korean and American), it is still difficult to navigate through the options and pick something. The language barrier is more complex, adding other Asian languages (apart from Chinese) to the ingredients list, for example. English explanations can barely be found.
Because of it's super convinient locaction on line 2 and good selection of cheese and imported beer, Freshmart is always full of foreigners. They have a huge selection of imported Japanese items such as candy, marble drinks, and different soup and noodle mixes. Though, as a note to Veggies- they rarely have a good assortment of tofu and everytime I've gone I couldn't find any frozen dumplings without meat. My favorite part of stopping at Freshmart is the little stands scattered throughout the open floor plan and offering a wide variety of snack food- the clear winner being the soft hot pretzels for 8rmb. The one large down-fall of this store are the prices, which are several rmb more here than for the same items at Carrefour. This is a good market for a quick stop but not for your weekly groccery shopping.
