very beautiful and beautiful, very western. eating is really good, they have some vegan options, some others can be made vegan easily. the personal is really nice and friendly! it is not the cheapest, but definitiw a great place to go when they long an avocado toast in shanghai! View all feedback.
After finally deciding to visit this cafe, we were impressed by its chic charm and the presence of expats, making it a great spot for Instagram-worthy moments. However, I found the menu confusing and was disappointed to learn that they did not offer a separate vegan menu. Despite limited options, we enjoyed the avocado on toast without feta and cashew milk coffees. The vegan cakes, although large in portion, had overly sweet icing. Overall, I was not impressed and prefer other nearby options like Pure Whole. Despite giving it another chance, I found that many items listed as vegan were not always available, making it a unreliable choice for vegans. Although my girlfriend and assistant enjoyed the avocado and mushroom on toast, I was left wanting the unavailable vegan pancakes. The fact that the restaurant supposedly has a vegan chef only added to my disappointment, and I will not be returning.
Delicious vegan menu options such as avocado toast and banana bread. The cashew milk drinks are tasty. The restaurant has a charming atmosphere.
This restaurant is a lovely and charming place with a very western feel. The food is delicious, with vegan options available and other dishes that can easily be made vegan. The staff is incredibly kind and welcoming. While not the most affordable option, it is definitely worth a visit if you are in the mood for avocado toast in Shanghai!
This is your standard-instagramable white wall green plant café, ideal for working there with a macbook or meeting your expat friends for lunch. Irony besides, I enjoyed my time reading and working there. Staff is really friendly and catered to my special wishes: had a nicely bitter iced matcha latte with Oatley oat milk +5 RMB extra as well as an interesting black sesame latte with their homemade cashew milk also +5 RMB extra . The price of total 75 RMB is high for two beverages, but again: it's Shanghai, and I would gladly return. Some of their dishes are veganizable! Sidenote: They are super heavy on the AC! It was on 16 Degrees Celsius and I left with goosebumps.
We decided to give this place an attempt, yes it is cafe chic charme was on point filled with expats (or foreigners who choose them, I am foreign) for instagramable moments. the menu that I found confusing (see other user photo), I asked if they were a separate vegan menu, they were not! Apart from avocado on toast without feta there was only one other item and two cakes. as they charge extra for cashew milk in coffee, I wonder if they don't withdraw money for feta? we split a feta free avocado on toast that was good, had cashew milk coffee also good and the two vegan cakes: skyberry and limette, chocolate, zimt chili. the portions of the cake were large, but the icing whatever it was made was only sweet and too much of it, the actual cake part was very delicious. I will not make a trip here, especially as there are much better places with more options near as pure whole. I gave him another attempt to say a few more articles that they can be made vegan, but the day we went the vegan bookwheat pfannkuchen were not available, this was around 9 o'clock, so there is not much point in the list of vegan dings when they are only available sometimes. my friend and my assistant shared the avocado on the mushrooms toast that they really enjoyed, I had the bananenbrot toast that was good, but I really wanted the pancakes. I'm told that this place has a cook that is vegan, which is why one of the reasons I find this place so subduing for vegans, I won't disturb back.
