Tonight, we had a delightful dinner with a beautiful view of the inlet. Our server, Morgan, was friendly and very attentive. We ordered the senior citizen creek shrimp and oyster dinner, and the fried oysters were the best I've ever had. They were large, plump, and cooked perfectly. Right off the intracoastal so the view is worth the drive. Docks are empty today, early April. It won't be in a month or as soon as it warms up. Hubby and I tried the shrimp taco salad and the lunch special of flounder and oyster. Both delicious and filling. And Oh, you can have your dog at the outside seating. View all feedback.

Inlet View Restaurant is probably the very best restaurant that we visit in all of Oak Island and Shallotte. The food there is wonderful! I always get the shrimp and it's great. The atmosphere there with the view of the inlet can't be beat. The waitresses are nice and helpful. We try to visit here as often as we can, and I wish they wouldn't close for the Winter.
