We attempted to visit the Malay restaurant in Malacca at the Logan Hyperdome marketplace again, but unfortunately it was closed (it is uncertain whether permanently). As a result, we decided to try a local Chinese restaurant for this visit. The restaurant seemed to be popular among locals as it was quite busy last night. The service was friendly and welcoming. After looking at the menu, it appeared that the restaurant was trying to combine Thai and Chinese cuisine. We ordered the signature dish of seafood satay, mushroom, chicken pillow Thai, and my favorite seafood tom yum. The dishes arrived unexpectedly quickly and were generously portioned. The tom yum lacked depth of flavor, and the pad Thai could have been improved. The seafood satay was a standout with a delicious Satay aroma. The duck dish was the standout, with perfectly prepared pieces of duck in a flavorful sauce. Overall, the last two dishes were lacking in comparison.
