I have heard so many good things about this place that I finally decided to make a trip to glenmarie to taste for myself what it is about. in the back row of so... read more I have heard so many good things about this place that I finally decided to make a trip to glenmarie to taste for myself what it is about. in the back row of some storehouses with some other famous eating like meng kee, only u could easily have been missed if not for the help of waze. park was relatiw easy, but today a celebrates, it is difficult to measure how the weekday traffic pattern would be. a lot of parking was available. from the outside the shop looks like any other coffee shop, with a stall on the right side, which sells various types of nudels. what struck me was that the stalls were all together, then it came to me that the whole place was probably operated by a single owner! I ordered the mee yoke (or hokkien mee to the penangites.) a hearty bowl with a rich prawn basic soup came. When I broke in, I realized it was pretty good. only the correct amount of seasoning and everything else to boot with a generous help of fried schalottes. I looked around, also noticed that they had opened a hole in the wall to the next door shoplot, and more sitting opportunities offered a sign that this place probably only needs that. it was a satisfying bowl, but unfortunately I realized why when the thirst met me after I left the load. but all in all it was a good bowl. must come back and try the other noodle dishes they have.

Run by three siblings from Ipoh.The two sisters are responsible for cooking and preparing the noodles while the brother with the help of some foreign workers is in charge of orders and customers service. Their limited menu selection includes; special prawn mee, nyonya curry laksa and Ipoh noodles soup. All three noodle varieties here are equally popular and usually sold out during lunch time. Their prawn mee is second to none in all of Subang Jaya and Glenmarie! Only U restaurant operates from 0700 hrs till 1400 hrs daily except Sundays. Come early to avoid disappointment.
