The café is nice, and the prices are standard for a café. However, the food was not surprisingly delicious. I ordered the buttermilk chicken, and it was too rich and too sweet, which made it quite overwhelming to eat. For the pastry cake, it was very hard, although the chocolate filling was thick and nicely sweet. Lastly, for the hot matcha latte, when I drank it, I felt something hard in my mouth. I was shocked to find a piece of bamboo brush bristle inside. This is very dangerous. Please check the condition of your brush, as it could be very harmful if someone accidentally swallows it. So,this is my second time trying to Butterbee,. In first time,i had pesto and buttermilk chicken with my friend. Foods were fine but I was not okay with the service upstairs since the service was really slow but a downstairs staff helped me picked my order. For this time: I tried Ayam Gepuk set at upstairs but I’m not satisfied with the service upstairs again because everyone seems not friendly and active enough. But the downstairs staff helped me again with my teh O refill,and she seems really friendly and caring,I will be choosing downstairs from now on! I will be visiting again as the food are tasty.
