I wish I could give zero stars. My boyfriend ordered from this Subway and when he arrived, his sandwich wasn't ready. While he was waiting, candy fell out of on... read more I wish I could give zero stars. My boyfriend ordered from this Subway and when he arrived, his sandwich wasn't ready. While he was waiting, candy fell out of one of the staff's pockets. Instead of discarding it, she picked it up with her gloves still on and placed it on the counter where they prepare sandwiches, then proceeded to make his sandwich! When he asked if she had picked something off the floor, she confirmed it and claimed that nothing from the floor was included in his sandwich. She even tried to justify it by saying the floor had just been mopped and was clean. He requested that she change her gloves and remake the sandwich, which she agreed to, but then shockingly took the ingredients from his sandwich and put them back into the containers. This is absolutely disgusting! If you wouldn’t eat food that’s fallen on the floor, please don’t serve it to customers! He left without the sandwich.

Many of these hardworking women are doing their best to support themselves and their families, and they shouldn't have to endure such mental anguish at their workplace. It’s time for the owner of the Shell/Subway on Lerdo Highway, as well as the Subway on Central Avenue in Shafter, CA, to wake up. You are exhibiting misogynistic behavior towards your employees, and it’s crucial that you adopt a more positive mindset.
