El Sabor Mexican Grill - Seymour

I went once for lunch which was great. Good food and service. I went back Saturday night with a family of 4 and got stale chips, nasty salsa and a bill of $80.00 for 2 kids chicken tender meals and 2 enchilada meals. Service was slow but I know everyone is having that issue right now. Prices just way too high for what you receive.

We were in this restaurant in March and were very disappointed. However, they'd just opened and we thought we'd give them a second chance. Last week we went back. We were equally disappointed, if not even more so. The food is extremely bland. I ordered the BBQ burrito seems like it was smothered in 1/2 bottle of Baby Rays BBQ sauce. The meat inside had no Mexican seasoning, it tasted like a bland pot roast. My spouse's burrito was the same, no flavor. We ordered an appetizer of Nachos, which came at the same time as the entrees did. Not only was that frustrating, the Nachos were wet and soggy. I tipped the plate up and within 2 minutes there was a puddle of water and grease at the bottom of the platter. The service was bad 1 server taking orders serving for the entire place on a Friday evening. It was obvious we were finished, yet had wait over 10 minutes to even ask for the check. I'm sad that it's like this, as we live in Seymour, and want to spend locally. We won't be back.

The food is bland and no sauce is provided with the meals. The staff and service is fantastic. The lunch prices are good, the dinner meals are quite pricey.

This place has very good food. Authentic Mole oh so good. Have not had a bad meal from here.

The chicken tenders and fries are quite exquisite recommend this place because me and my boyfriend Gage caliero become your very often enjoy a nice meal the kids menu is very unexpensive but the food is very good I literally recommend this to anybody who likes food
