This restaurant is peaceful, calm, and has an excellent bakery! My favorite dish is the Rubin sandwich. I recommend making a reservation in advance, as I was let down by the long wait time on my last visit. The ambiance is lovely. View all feedback.

My mother, aunt, sister, niece, and I had a lovely lunch outing here in the afternoon. We live in Louisville, so it was a bit of a trek to get here, but it was worth it.

I stumbled upon this charming restaurant on my way to the nature reserve. The sign near the highway didn't give any indication of what to expect, but I'm so glad I found it.

My wife and I celebrated our 20th anniversary at this restaurant. It is a special place, with a calming atmosphere that promotes relaxation and enjoyment. The attentive and friendly staff made us feel welcome, and the pleasant music added to the peaceful atmosphere. The meal was beautifully presented and tasted delicious. Even though I am not typically a fan of chicken salad or pasta salad, I found both to be incredibly tasty on the sample plate. I highly recommend giving this restaurant a try. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful experience. 11/5/2020.

I ordered the rub sandwich, which was a definite must-try. The combination of sour wort and Thousand Island dressing brought out amazing flavors in the sandwich. We also tried the chicken pot pie, another tasty delight. We requested soda without ice and it arrived warm - a small hiccup that just needed some ice. Next, we sampled the bacon spinach quiche. Although it was loaded with bacon and spinach, we found it a bit lacking in the quiche department. The texture was good, but it wasn't one of our favorites. For dessert, we indulged in the orange pineapple cake, which was also a must-try - absolutely delicious! I highly recommend visiting this establishment for a relaxing escape in the forest or a leisurely stroll around the charming surroundings. Don't miss out on the delicious offerings - it's worth the visit!
