Ferguson Plarre Bakehouse - Seymour

We had lunch there as we had done in the past, but this time was definitely up to par. Our Pies and Sausage rolls were cool and quite tasteless. The sandwiches now are pre made so choices are limited, which doesn't suit a lot of...people, especially for a bakery.

I am unfamiliar with these bakeries, as I do not remember seeing them in Gippsland. However, it is possible they were there and I simply did not notice. I recently visited one of these bakeries in the Bendigo marketplace and I was quite impressed. Despite being a chain store, the service was good. The staff member in Seymour was exceptionally friendly. The food and prices were both good, and the coffee was also reasonably priced. The bakery is easy to find in a small lane, with Woolworths visible from the location.

I was in search of something uncomplicated and casual. I loved the cozy cafe atmosphere, very inviting. They have seating available indoors and outdoors. There were so many options to choose from, it was difficult to decide what to order. I ended up getting a pie, while my daughter got a sausage roll and she claimed it was the best she had ever tasted. The food was of excellent quality and we are excited to return and try something new. They also offer a variety of sweets, sandwiches, and pies.

The sandwiches are no longer custom-made, but the coffee is still good and the pastries are delicious. I particularly enjoyed the vegetable pastie and coffee.

Purchased chai latte and chicken lettuce mayo sandwich which tasted bit off on checking the use by it had expired already. Returned this and asked if any of the others were in date was use by today an egg sandwich so l declined. I...then grabbed a bakery item . The staff did not remove the other sandwiches in fact continued selling them
