Dropped in to grab a coffee and cake on the way to work. Best coffee ever, shame they don't sell it by the bags. Chose a vanilla slice and unlike the other places in town, the filling was light and fresh and did not have...a consistency of being made with gelatine or days old. Only hope the standard of freshness is a daily thing and I didn't attend on a good day as I'm planning to return and try some of their other h... View all feedback.
What Eriberto Dach doesn't like about Aramintas Tea Rooms:
This cafe featured nice coffee, lovely scones and fairly average pies. Prices were average. The kitchen closes at 2:30, with only cakes/slices available after that. Lots of room inside to sit. There is a local art/craft section with some lovely handmade things at very reasonable prices. View all feedback.

First day of our sixth lock down and I really needed a coffee... thankfully this tea shop was open and pleased to see a customer. I ordered a coffee and a couple of items to take away with me. The service was great... the lady...inside was happy to chat about the building. It would be interesting to see this tea room running on all cylinders... it has amazing space. There is seating to one side and out the front usually, but clearly not during a lock down. The prices are really reasonable and if you are turning off the highway to head to the Railway Station this is on your way
Good food, Good coffee and Good customer service. I've finally checked out the reviews here and was a little shocked to see a few negative responses, but then noticed that they are generally from a long time ago. I first went to Aramintas tea years ago when I first moved to Seymour and have rated it very highly compared to other coffee shops/cafes in the area. They do take credit cards now and the inside is quite bright and welcoming. They always smile and are polite and the food is of a very good standard. I believe that there are new owners who took it over a little before I moved there, so I can't compare it to what it used to be like, but it is a quaint old building with much character and charm. It sits on a tree lined street opposite a park, so the view isn't too bad either. Well worth the stop if you're passing through
Polite, helpful staff (all wearing a smile) who provided good country fare at a reasonable price. Well done
Meals were good and the staff were very friendly. Reasonably priced meals and big servings. We hope to go back for tea and scones we couldn’t fit it in as lunch was too big
