What Rachel Maize doesn't like about Sewickley Speakeasy:
Comically bad food. Ironically unironic tacky decor. Obviously frozen and microwaved food. Oh, and you pay a premium for all of the above. We should have known when the salads (see photo) came out that our $50/plate entrees were going to be sub-par; we weren’t expecting barely edible. How can you ruin a baked brie with berry sauce? Freeze it, I suppose, microwave it, and pour gritty red tasteless goo all over it. Ser... View all feedback.

Baked Brie with raspberry sauce was very good. Spending an extra $2.25 for blue cheese dressing was a waste bc it barely dampened our salads . Both the entree's were heavily salted and in the case of the pork chop inedible. The veal picatta was a little better but not enjoyable. The menu on the web site is far from accurate as to the actual prices or offerings. The restaurant is a little converted house and doesn't seat many at a time so you can actually have a conversation and be heard . It's cozy but every 20min or so the train blows its' horn as it passes by on the tracks below. We weren't offered desserts and the service was extremely slow. Even after the pork chop meal was deleted from our bill $26.95) we still spent $89.00 plus tip . That included one alcoholic drink Bottom line is that we won't go back.
