First time here. We tried Arroz negro con fruitos del mar black rice with seafood). Generous medium size serving. Very delicious. We also tried Salmoejo creamy cold tomato soup). Great entree/tapas size. Lastly, Pastel de calabacin zucchini slice with sauce) tapas size. Pulpo Gallegos octopus with potato and paprika. The dry white wine was great. Absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this place. View all feedback.
What Jambach doesn't like about Alcaiza:
The food was OK, but our waitress (red haired) was almost hostile. It just made for a bad vibe and our least fun meal on an otherwise great trip. Not worth it given all the other great eating choices. View all feedback.
Very pleasant atmosphere, very friendly and professional staff. I loved the covers so elaborate and original.
Lovely little square where Spanish families come for a Sunday snack in the sun. Great choice of food we had a mini burger, octopus galician style and a salad. Ultra tasty. Good service. Great for people watching. Little girls throwing shapes while parents and grandparents chattered away. Splendid entertainment... And let's not mention the lovely wine
Great atmosphere with lots of locals passing through. Simple fare well prepared and VFM. Serrano on tomato bread excellent
Great place to sit and watch Sevillans and tourists! Buzzy place with several bars, one of them the Alcaiza, which turned out to be one of the best finds during our 2 weeks Spain tour! Great tapas 'with a twist ' at a very reasonable price and especially great if you get tired of the 'regular ' Spanish food. We had the tuna tataki, Tierra y Mar Salad, bacalao, magret and last not least a fabulous cheesecake yummy! Don 't miss it if you 're around. Very friendly staff too!
Excellent croquettes of pork and very good shrimp tortilla. ratio quality-price good. attend quickly
