The Pub And Grill At Beacon Ridge

I can not say if the food is good here. I have not and would never eat here. Uh oh, but this is a restaurant review. You see I have to like the environment as well as the food. Their dining room is where we have our POA meetings and trust me it needs a makeover in the worst way. It is as close to a retirement home dining room as you can get. So outdated and truly ugly. I feel like if you don't own a walker you would look out of place. The drapes, chairs, tables and all need to go in the dumpster.

The food was excellent. We eat dinner on Friday night and went back for Sunday brunch. I look forward to future meals at the club.

Staff was friendly but this course needs some TLC. Fairways and tee boxes were ok. Bunkers and greens were well below acceptable. We were advised about this at check in but figured they were just recently aerated and would be ok. I was very wrong when we got to the first one. My first inclination should have been the vast amount of open tee times and the groupon. The deal was good, 2 w/ a cart for $50, but not sure I would play here again. Staff was great and we stopped in for lunch at the turn. Clubhouse is similar to the course. Was probably nice at one time but years of neglect have left it in its current state. Food was ok, Ruben and steak philly. Sweet potatoes fries were the best part of it. Hopefully the staff can bring this place back but it will be an up hill battle

I've never been golfing before, but we took some friends who were visiting from out of town. The golf course was stunning! I was in charge of driving the cart, and we had a great time. The food at the clubhouse was just basic bar fare and pretty inexpensive, but I'm not sure if that's typical.

The restaurant has reopened under new management, and the food is meticulously prepared and outstanding. They are still in the process of establishing full service.
