Peking Wok - Seven Lakes

This restaurant really needs improvement. The food tasted like it had been reheated multiple times. At $10 per person for the buffet, there were only about 3 or 4 dishes worth trying. The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is that the waitress refilled our drinks twice. The music playing in the background was not enjoyable either. During lunch hour, there were only about 10-15 customers, which says a lot. I won't be returning.

Friendly staff, but the food was lacking. It didn't taste fresh at all. The fried rice was quite bland, and the egg roll was small and flavorless. I was disappointed; I was hoping for a good Chinese restaurant in the area.

The service can be a bit slow, so it's best to call in your order ahead of time. The portions are generous, and the specialty dishes are cooked to perfection.

It is quite standard American Chinese restaurant tariff. If you are used for ethical options, this will be disappointed. We usually stick to sweet and sour chicken and fried rice and it was always pleasant. Not high kitchen, but we're going back.

I love the black pepper chicken from here. The egg rolls are kind of wimpy and need... something. Service is always quick and with a smile. I'm a frequent flyer.
