The food was fresh and lovely cooked and the portions were huge we found out that's actually the norm in Portugal).When we sat down, the waiter brought us a starter a lot of food) which was a delicious cheese, bread, crackers, olives, butter, and some shrimp and cod cakes. As a main dish, I had the chicken breast with honey and ginger which came with a big side dish of veggies and rice) and my boyfriend had the Portuguese steak. The service was great. Both the chef and the waiter were very friendly and helpful. It was pouring down and the staff offered to order us a taxi. We decided to have a few more glasses of wine delicious) instead and wait for it to stop. We recommend this place.

After approaching (politel... read more After waiting over an hour for the first course, it finally arrived was spoiled by too much salt (even for my friend who loves salt ! After approaching (politely the owner/chef, my friend was told very rudely to just leave. No apology or explanation. It was quite busy so maybe the guy was just stressed out, but that's no reason to be abusive to your customers ! There was a waitress who appeared very efficient but she was worked off her feet. I ate out a fair bit in Setubal so this was definately not the norm. A simple sorry would not have resulted in this review.
