My hus... read more We ate here because a lot of restaurants are closed on Sunday. I ordered vegetable soup which had a weird taste and came lukewarm which i didn't finish . My husband was only half way through his starter when the main course arrived! The staff were pleasant and attentive enough but we didn't feel the need to return.

This is why we came to Portugal to sit on a quayside in evening sunshine and enjoy wonderful fresh fish accompanied by quality wine .To get all this at a price... read more This is why we came to Portugal to sit on a quayside in evening sunshine and enjoy wonderful fresh fish accompanied by quality wine .To get all this at a price dramatically less than we’d pay at home just capped it off .With pleasant and courteous service from first to last , we whole heartedly recommend dining here

There was no uncalled for upselling and the covers were clearly marked on the menu as extra items , same for side dishes. We liked it so much we ate here twice . First time had lamb chops which were to die for mint sauce was a bit weird) and my partner had garlic prawns which she says was one of the best things she eat in Tavira. Second time around had a grilled seabass which was magnificent and partner had the prawns again. Great wine to accompany meal. Ignore all the negative comments about this and give it a go , not the only people to think this as it was pretty busy on both occasions including a good sprinkling of locals ... always a good sign

The food was ok, wasn’t bad just nothing special. Service was fine, they made a couple of mistakes with the order. Situated on the road but we weren’t bothered by the cars
