A few months ago i visited again and again with my father for weekly lunches.The fried squid or like we call it in Portuguese Choco Frito, is the best in the city. The fish is always remarkably fresh and the meat fantastic, you cant find much better around, specially for the up-market but completely down to earth price. i strongly recommend this restaurant if your in the city and are looking for a local and less touristic place with great simple and tasty food.

It's a good food joint, typically Portuguese and have variety of fish and meat. Quality of food is good, specially typical Setubalense Sardines. Very testy and... read more It's a good food joint, typically Portuguese and have variety of fish and meat. Quality of food is good, specially typical Setubalense Sardines. Very testy and sell served with boiled potato with skin. Salad and other accompanied titbits are extra. Main problem of this restaurant is absolutely understaffed. Just girl for esplanade and one for inside for around 40 people while full. Old lady owner is very cooperating and active to add her hands to tables services too but not at all sufficient. Sweet dishes do not justify value for money. Too little and too high and quality is not to the satisfaction of clients.
