The owner told me he was inspired to start his own place after traveling around the world and to see all amazing plant-based food options available. He felt connected to so many of the like-minded people he met, ran the vegan and vegetarian places that inspired him to open his own shop in his hometown. He first founded himself in the city of Okama, but then moved into this beautiful traditional style Japanese country house to start a vegan catering business for the local community, online sales of his finished vegan meals as well as open to the public as a restaurant. I had only one chance to taste his food while in Setouchi-city, so I had both the lunch set AND the Veggie Burger in one session - everything was really good, but the burger was the real stand-out item!

The location is great, it is in the middle of a huge field! I bought the lunch set w/ Dessert and 2 Scones and spent 2000¥. Also remember to contact them to make a reservation.
