The table fee is 1000 yen, but it is definitely worth it. All of the dishes were delicious. Parking near the restaurant is 100 yen per hour. Just be aware that if you don't like cats, it may not be the best choice as there is a friendly cat at the restaurant. View all feedback.
Samatime is a restaurant housed in a traditional wooden building that serves dishes in special seto dishes native to the region. I ordered the Buddha bowl from their lunch menu, which included a variety of delicious items for 1500 yen. The meal also came with a miso soup, which was very satisfying. Even my sister and her husband, who usually eat animal products, enjoyed their meal. I was pleased to see flyers from the Animal Rights Center Japan on display and on the tables with the menu. The restaurant converted to a fully vegan menu in June 2019. (Updated review as of July 27, 2020)
Had an incredibly good lunch here last week! it was a meal with suppe, salad, head and dessert for 2,500 yen, possibly a little expensive for a lunch? but the main dish was huge and satiating! perfect mix of different aromen and sauces. I was surprised and enjoyed the meal very, did not regret to come all the way to seto. but that was a special lunch that she offered during the Maneki-neko festivals. updated by previous review on 2019-10-02
Good vegan food and beautiful atmosphere. It is very cozy and I like the ambience. The staff is also friendly.
The table fee is 1,000 yen, but they are worth it. All dishes were very good. The parking lot near the restaurant costs 100 yen per hour. All right, but if you don't like a cat, it's not good. Because this cat is friendly.
