basic home cooking, run by friendly obliging husband and wife with help from regulars. Great selection of beers with a basic menu to suit locals. we had the special of the day, Cassoulet. a bowl of white beans served with lovely crusty bread a chunk of tasty fried ham and two different local sausages. so tasty. obviously very popular with locals who kept popping in to eat and drink. What Ben Chapman doesn't like about Bieres & Terroirs:
We stopped here for a coffee, it is located almost halfway between the railway station and the port. Small friendly bar but unfortunately the owner handn't anticipated the vast number of visitors to Sete for the Tall Ships visit. We had to wait some 20 minutes before we could even order a coffee, during which time many customers just got up and left, The crowds queuing for the toilet was a joke not funny. View all feedback.

Small and casual bar. Great home cooked meals at reasonable cost but what brought us here was the variety of beers. 6 beers on tap with a massive range of European and American bottles including some IPAs (Brewdog, Houblon Chouffe, Brooklyn East IPA), the only ones we found in Sète. Definitely worth a visit if you are nearby and maybe even worth a detour if you want some craft beers (bière artisanale). The cheery owner serves en francais only but is super friendly and communication is easy even with the English folks! Choose your beer from the taps or from the ample supply of bottles on display.
