Picante - Sesimbra

We came here mid-afternoon on a quiet April day with everything else in the vicinity closed. Very helpful (but not pushy) member of staff welcomed us and the food was brought quickly. We sat out front with a view of the sea. We were so impressed with our burgers which were fresh ground beef, melty cheese and all the trimmings. My husband loves Mexican food so we also enjoyed some nachos to start. If we were staying in Sesimbra longer we would definitely come again for another fabulous burger! N.B. Didn’t realise it was called Picante (thought it was Mexican Smash Burger) so some confusion there.

I can't believe that I had to come to Portugal to get good Mexican and Turkish food! The quality is great every time and great value for money. And they even deliver!! I would order every night if I didn't feel so guilty. Can't recommend highly enough.

We came here for the opening and loved every dish. From chili con carne , passing through the burritos ending with the tacos ... Wonderful presentation, taste and staff. The price is well adjusted, considering you are eating in front of the Sesimbra beach. The kids loved it. We did too. You can even choose your level of spice !. Definitely recommended!
