Casa Oliva - Serrungarina

A fantastic view combined with great wines and food. Very quiet and friendly service. They speak English very well so menu is explained properly. Ate here twice now and still satisfied.

First off, the staff is awesome: they 're all so nice, they welcomed us with our very little baby and our dog and were very helpful, professional but also entertaining and easy going. The location, in the Bargni village on the top of an hill, is almost impossible to match: it 's just so charming! Now, to the food. The menu has interesting Marche dishes, with also some interesting gluten free options (which one of us needed). The cheese selection (which is a starter but it 's better shared if you plant to eat a main course as well) is to be recommended. What I liked a lot is that all the wines in the list are available by the glass and you don 't have to get the full bottle: in the other restaurants in the area we visited, you had only a couple of wines available by the glass, while all the others were by the bottle. Oh, they have excellent wines by the way. I 'm not giving it 5 stars just because I felt it was a bit pricey. But I strongly recommend it, it 's a great place!
