During our visit to La Vallée Village, we found this outlet in the shopping centre across the factory outlet. The price was very affordable, and it came in large portion. I had a Sakura Meal, in it were 7 various skewer including beef, chicken and duck. Served with a bowl of rice, the Sakura Meal was top notch! I love it! The skewers were wonderfully served with soy sauce. It was so well blend and sweet. A drink of Ja... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Kyoto:
After the day in Disneyland, we found a sushi place nearby. Initially we had a good impression, easy parking, fast service. Taste of food was average, but still ok. Waiter forgot about our drink order, but that's still ok. The disaster happened after we got back to our hotel, about an hour later. We spent half a night on the toilet. We ate nothing else that evening and I have no doubt where we got into trouble. View all feedback.
Kimono for the day is what you should do and walk around their beautiful temples or enjoy the tea ceremony. I love the pickle shop and matcha desserts. Easily get there by bullet train from other cities so you don't have to book your stay...there unless you want to.
The place is clean and the servers were polite, accommodating. Our server was fluent in English and the menu was explained clearly for us. We ordered ramen and yakitori and the food was great especially the ramen. The price is midrange and the service was...fast. A good place to eat Japanese in the outlet.
As I am a sushi lover, this restaurant offers a nice sushi at a reasonable price. Fish is fresh and place is clean and comfortable. I totally recommend it.
Good sashimi and sushi. But the ramen is not so tasty as the original japanese ramen. Crowdy. Not too slow service.
I went there with my wife and toddler son and asked for a table for adults and child with a high chair). I was carrying my toddler son who was still sleeping. A middle age lady (not sure but I think she...was the owner) told one of the male waiters to sit us at a person table. My son was still sleeping but he had been sleeping for an hour so I knew he would wake up in the next min and have lunch with us, and we would need the high chair when he wakes up. After we sat down and were given our menus, a young waitress (with glasses) came, and told us to use only half of the table so that she could sit another other people on the person table we were given. I told her: we are of us, we need the whole table She replied no you don't need the whole table, we will put the high chair in the corner, you use half of the table and we put more people She told us to move to the corner of the table and left to go speak to another customer at another table while I was still speaking to her. She was SO rude. That was completely unnecessary. The restaurant was not even that busy. There was a couple, adults who were sitting at a person table. We were of us, and she wanted us to sit on a person table? Besides, we did not just sit there: one of her colleagues (or even maybe her boss) sat us at that table. I was about to leave the restaurant because I was annoyed with that young waitress' attitude but my wife wanted to eat so I kept quiet. However, for the whole meal, I ignored that young waitress. Everytime we needed something, I would call one of the male waiters (who, unlike her, were very polite and professional). min later, my toddler son woke up so I called one of the male waiters to bring us a high chair. He who brought it and put it next to us on the entire person table (which is what were given in the first place), and not just in a corner of half of the table. We liked the food, we also ordered some house wine which I thought was good. All in all, we spent a considerable amount of money for a lunch in a shopping centre, with wine and would have preferred to be treated with respect and not in a rude way by a young waitress with no manners and no professionalism. Because of the young waitress' poor attitude, I removed a star for this rating and did not leave a good tip. The total was around I gave with the change. If it had not been for the young waitress' poor attitude (and completely unnecessary), I would have given it a solid stars and left a generous tip. Everyone in the restaurant was polite and friendly except that one, young waitress with glasses. This is an example where the attitude of one member of staff can destroy a potentially great business...
