We 'found' Tasca do Janeca last year following a recommendation and it has quickly become our favourite restaurant in and around Sao Martinho do Porto where we stay.It is a real 'local' restaurant with a very traditional atmosphere. Ambiance cantine très bruyant, nous avions réserver pour 13h et nous nous sommes mis à table à 14h30, en plus de ca l'attente pour le plat est interminable, et ce n'est pas très bon. Je ne vous le conseil pas. View all feedback.
Almoço de família ao Domingo. Fizémos reserva e chegámos cedo pois o espaço é pequeno e o n.º de pessoas a chegar para almoço interminável.Excelente relação qualidade/preço.Pratos diários de qualidade, abundantes e muito baratos.Sobremesas apelativas!
O atendimento era simpático.O queijo com mel.... não conhecia e era muito muito bom mesmo!!A sobremesa estava divinal!No entanto, o que me leva a dar uma avaliação menos positiva é o facto de ter encontrado um cabelo na comida e de o arroz parecer de há 1 mês de tão mal confeccionado que estava. É uma pena estes dois factores pois o resto estava realmente bom mas na minha opinião são coisas imperdoáveis num estabelecimento de restauração público.

Simple put, one of the nicest and friendly places I know for a casual meal. Arrived unexpectedly late during weekday and the chef didn't let me go without providing a meal. Always enjoy eating here. Beware during summer and weekend always crowded.

It is a real 'local ' restaurant with a very traditional atmosphere. It 's always busy but the small...kitchen is incredibly efficient as are the front of house staff. The food is just superb and incredibly consistent, the specials are amazing and value for money is off the scale. Don 't expect good English but that adds to the fun in communicating! The staff are very friendly and always helpful We can 't wait to go back again next year.
