If you are staying in Pias probably at the Hotel Betica then do not miss going to this restaurant,in my opinion it should be number 1 we were served by Valter one of the sons who speaks very good English,Ask him for his reccomendations and I promise he will not put you wrong. We ate here 3 nights of our 4 night stay and this was the best. The cost for an excellent meal including drinks just over 20 Euros for the two of us.

It was a Wednesday evening and the restaurant closest to the hotel Betica was closed so a reservation was made for us at the Trindade 500 m away. It did not disappoint. The olives in the cover were the best we have ever tasted. It always makes sense to us to eat the local specialty, which in Alentejo, is black pork: there were no less than 5 choices of cuts on the menu (save the fish for the Algarve! . Generous helpings of perfectly grilled meat were supplemented with the usual Portuguese fries and rice but also some more inventive sides... if only we could have some decent vegetables here some time! The proprietors spoke perfect English and were welcoming. By 9 p.m. the place was packed with local families always a good sign for a restaurant.

Stayed in Pias for 9 days and ate here 4 evenings because unfortunately the only other restaurant rated here was closed. The waiter Valter was friendly, very knowledgable and welcoming. The food was really good and the carafes of house wine were very drinkable! The prices were surprisingly reasonable. The steaks and the pizzas which were made to order) were to die for.

Very nice little restaurant, great food and wine, good prices. Valter spoke English so well and helped us order. It was so good we went twice. Everything was delicious, fresh and well presented. It was a joy to dine here.

Having no expectations from O Trindade Restaurant, until now now photos on Tripadvisor) we were delighted when we walked in. A lovely atmospheric restaurant with a good menu and sensible wine list on which we well guided. Delicious presunto cut off the boné, we had a home made Alentejo pizza because we had had a hearty , meaty lunch) and all was everything it should be. Service was attentive but not overpowering. Speciality of the house is a seafood azorda which is served in a hollowed out loaf. Highly recommend the place.
