We said that it was a place... read more Good food is sometimes found in the most unbelievable places, although this restaurant was a recommendation from our Villa Manager. We said that it was a place where their customers would visit Ubud each time for the pork ribs. Light or epic are submissions. Starting from the pork ribs, it was delicate, juicy, balanced on spices to bbq sauce, spices and it was perfectly grilled. There are beautiful signs on the flesh and ooze taste and love. I was stupid, how good it was that I ordered a second round for the table. However, we also have their Mujahir fish, made from the freshwaters below Mt Batur, seasoned, grilled and absolutely delicious. This was paired with Veg Nasi Goreng, Pecel (water spinach cooked with peanut sauce), plecing (green beans with garlic) and some sticks by Ayam Sate (Hähnchen Satay). The restaurant is managed by an all-woman team, including the cook with really good attitude and kindness. Even my teenage children felt that this was the best ever meal they enjoyed during our trip! The restaurant is a short drive from the Ubud city center, 10min tops and I would not recommend to go on this street as there is no street lighting.
