The dishes are exquisitely flavoured, from the sides to the desserts, and they set a high bar for just how good Balinese food can be. The Jackfruit Curry is a revelation, and the fantastic dessert platter is a delicious tour through multiple Indonesian sweets. Topped off with impeccable service and friendly staff Lumbung is a must visit for me in Ubud.

Perhaps, the best ever I have witnessed in my life – I maybe have been to some 5000 restaurants till date, but yet to experience hospitality like theirs! Their villas are to die for – you may yearn to owe a villa like theirs, the private swimming pool, the luxury washrooms and beds along with designer tent like covers – just transforms you to an entirely different world! Yes, I am a vegetarian and hence, I did face a few hiccups while enjoying my complimentary breakfast at this place – for which they can’t be blamed – as Bali is an Island country – with almost the entire population being non vegetarians, who primarily enjoy seafood! Out of the vast variety of breakfast buffet, the below veg items were available: Plain rice Nasi Goreng Veg Hakka Noodles Variety cut fresh fruits Tetra pack juices Lemon water Variety corn flakes Variety breads and toasts Variety muffins (Vanilla, Chocolate) Croissants Variety Doughnuts Exotic Tea Coffee etc Can’t blame them much for not having too many Indian Veg stuff in their menu! Prices are very high, but they compensate by way of providing exceptional service, ambience and overall experience!

My husband ordered the Lobster dinner and I ordered vegan meals. We both thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. Be sure to visit this during your Bali visit. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
