Sequim Kabob House
Sequim Kabob House
Description
Tucked in Sequim, this small, family-run kebab house delivers standout Middle Eastern flavors—gyros, shawarma, falafel and chicken kebabs praised for fresh marinades, pita and grilled veggies. Patrons cite friendly, efficient counter service and good lunch value, though consistency varies (some note bitter hummus or dry rice). The restaurant operates limited, sometimes irregular hours and a pared-down menu; décor includes politically charged art that may unsettle some diners. For casual, flavor-focused meals it’s a worthwhile, no-frills stop for locals and enthusiasts.

I have been eating Gyros my entire life, and I always try to eat gyros in every town that I go to. I’m usually disappointed, but I was very happy with what they offered at the kebab house not only was it delicious and plenty of food. There was just one person working in there and I was there right when they opened and she was still getting set up and she got my food out to be expeditiously. It was a little different than what I’m used to for gyros but it was delicious. I highly recommend it.
The chicken kabob plate was delicious. We loved the pita, grilled veggies, rice and flavorful chicken. The worker was very kind. Great small restaurant. Service: Dine in Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Chicken Kabob Plate
For lunch, I had a delightful experience at this restaurant. The meal was priced reasonably between $10 and $20, making it an excellent value. I rated the food a perfect 5 out of 5; everything was delicious, especially the Gyros Plate, Falafel, and Shawarma. The service was also exceptional, earning another 5-star rating, as the staff was friendly and attentive. The atmosphere of the place was equally impressive, creating a welcoming environment that deserves a full 5 stars. I highly recommend trying the Gyros—definitely a highlight of the menu!
I have mixed emotions about the food here. The lamp was quality and cooked perfectly. The Taziki sauce might have been the best I've ever had. However, the hummus was terrible. It had a bitter after taste that ruined it for me. The rice was dry and bland. I would likely go back and give it another try. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30
I didn't even think this place was even still open bcuz every time I drive by, it's closed. Now I know why, they only open 5 hours a day are closed 2 days a week. I see on their FB page that they are frequently re-opening after being closed for a period of time. This place should be booming bcuz they seem to be the only place that has middle eastern food in the area. But it doesn't seem that way. It takes more than decent food to make a successful business. You have to include good courteous customer service, reasonable prices, and be willing to sacrifice personal time to be available to the public. I see that they've scaled down the menu and raised prices considerably. I'm going on my only visit about 4 years or so ago, when I first moved here. Maybe things have changed for the better. I would like to go back and find out if I could make it in during the limited hours
