I'm not really a pasta person, especially spaghetti not really attraktiw for me, but my friends were hungry and they wanted to order it. it was much better than I thought. the pasta was perfectly cooked, with just a little bit of bite. both sauces were really good and not too oily. the delivery came fast, and it was all in reusable containers that she had written on them. The pasta was so good and inexpensive! I will definitely be back.
I would give it 5 stars but the app limits it to 4 because it’s not fully vegan. The walk from the subway station is not long and the staff are very accommodating. They provided me a menu in English and ordering is done through the machine, although the machine is defaulted to Korean, the vegan dishes are clearly labeled (Vegan). So the experience is completely user-friendly and convenient. The staff here also spoke English and were very friendly in guiding me on how to use the machine. Onto the food, I had the Coconut Tomato Pasta, it was delectable, garnished with Coconut instead of cheese, the dish has only *a hint* of spice. I also had the garlic bread and it was delicious, crunchy to my liking but some might prefer a softer version. I liked it.
Options: I went in expecting maybe 2 vegan options, but there were so many. You can get many kinds of pasta, risotto, gnocchi, paella, and even dessert!! They had vegan tiramisu, which I didn't get to try this time around, but I will definitely try next time I go. I went with a group of 5, and we ordered all vegan. We got the coconut tomato pasta, the oil pasta, gnocchi, the cream soup, and garlic bread. The prices in my opinion were pretty reasonable and affordable. The oil pasta was, of course, pretty oily, but it had a bit of a kick to it that I wasn't expecting. It wasn't very flavorful though, so I don't think I would order it again. But it was nice to try. The soup was so creamy and delicious. The gnocchi was good as well, and I'm glad for the bit of salad it came with. Though this one was also a bit oily. The garlic bread was delicious, we ordered two. Garlic bread in Korea tends to be pretty sweet, and this one was good, still slightly sweet, but not as sweet as others. Our favorite was the coconut tomato pasta. One of my friends isnt used to sweet pasta but it was the most flavorful of all the options we had. Forgot to take a picture of this one because we were hungry and ate straight away. Staff (and Portions) The staff was very nice and patient. They don't speak much English, and our group only knows bare minimum Korean, but we were able to communicate. Our server let us know that we ordered too little food and that they recommend five main courses for five people. They let us keep our order, but that they were just worried we wouldn't have enough to eat. I can't eat very much so I was full by the end of the meal and it was more than enough for me. But I do agree with what he said. One main dish to be split with five people is a very small serving per person if you're sharing so I would recommend following the server's advice and order your own food instead of sharing with your group. I’m not really a pasta person, especially spaghetti doesn’t really appeal to me, but my friends were hungry and they wanted to order it. it definitely was wayyy better than i could have thought. the pasta was cooked perfectly, with just a little bite. both the sauces were really good and not too oily. the delivery arrived quickly, and it was all packed in reusable containers, which they had written on them. i washed them out and will use them again! they gave us a free drink as well. if i wanted pasta and was in the area i would definitely visit the restaurant, or order in again like last time.
Was interesting to see they not only had vegan option but were very active in veganuary promotion. Well done!! Nit much in this area in terms of vegan meal options so even vegan pasta was welcome to see. They also had some nice looking vegan desserts to go with coffee after the meal but I did takeaway. The shiitake mushrooms and onions in a soy cream pasta was very good. The garlic oil really comes through. Heavy dish that could only eat half of in 1 sitting. Also picked up the oil pasta with Cheongyang chillies. #Veganuary
