eating is very good, we liked the naanbrot. we also tried the samosas. the amount is also good. the service is somewhat slow and there was a problem with the bill, but the quality of the food was good! good option for vegans. they need to ask for the vegan/vegetarian menu. updated by previous review on 2022-09-20 View all feedback.

I suggest you ask for the special vegetarian curry menu, or you will be served coreanized Indian food. The restaurant offers a variety of veggie-friendly foods, some of which can be veganized on request. This separate menu contains a lot of dishes with exotic vegetables, e.g. okra and bitter gourd. I had good experiences with these courts. When I ordered veganized food from the regular menu, but everything tasted quite sweet, although we got a variety of different curry dishes. It seemed like the kitchen was adapted to Korean taste buds. Naanbrot is very thin and the texture is soft and partly crisp, which is beautiful. But also the Grundnaan can taste surprisingly sweet. As a starter, you'll fried Papadam, which was very salty. Korean rice is also served free of charge, but it is not well done. This place is a beautiful local option if you eat with a group of people who have different food preferences and no Indian spices. I know some Koreans who generally don't like Indian food. It is a large restaurant in the basement of a large building and always seems like a busy restaurant. Service can be slow when there are many other guests.
Otsal was a much needed discovery in an area packed with meat-centered restaurants we would never consider visiting. The place gives you a fully Indian experience, and has a special vegetarian menu, just as advertised here. As a vegan I was burnt a little, because I ordered some dishes that contained cheese without knowing and ended up passing them to my vegetarian companion. I encourage you to learn from my silly spontaneity and make sure you verify your choice doesn't contain any cream, milk or cheese. Most dishes, saffron rice and the garlic bread we ordered were very tasty, The tomato soup wasn't, though. In the end of the meal we were given two cups of chai masala (with milk... on the house. My partner found the dishes way too spicy for his taste, so if that's an issue for you, make sure you let them know when ordering. And one last tip: The vegetarian menu doesn't let you know what each dish contains, so make sure you google it first. I posted a picture of the menu in the images section so you could do some homework before your arrival :
