The Visitor Center was closed due to COVID, and I had no cell service, s... read more While I was taking a break at Seneca Rocks, I accidentally locked myself out of my car. The Visitor Center was closed due to COVID, and I had no cell service, so I walked over to Yokums to see if I could use a phone. Not only did they allow me to use their phone, but a kind lady at the front desk even made a call for me. Although the person I needed to reach didn't answer right away, she mentioned that she knew where he usually had lunch (which was fortunate, since it was around noon). She successfully reached him on her second attempt, and he arrived about 15 minutes later to unlock my car. I am incredibly grateful for their help! The small-town hospitality was truly heartwarming. At least it was a beautiful day in a stunning location!
