I had the spinach soup for the beginning. we chose the a la carte Codfish specialties, which were the “Bacalhau à Braga” and the “Bacalhau com Broa”, both were delicious. the dessert we chose was the chocolate cake with mandling and was just divine! the other desserts were cream caramel, chocolate mousse and regional cakes. the service was attentive and efficient. we highly recommend this restaurant.

And there was: a cozy and quiet dining room, with stone walls and wooden beams on the deck. eating was well prepared and they bring many homemade appetizers before their meal. we had the lamb, slowly boiled in many times and it was delicious the price is in this partly Portuguese on medium.

I enjoyed very much all the dishes that I tasted (mainly dishes of Portuguese cuisine; I have not tried the cakes, though, so I have no opinion about it), and also the sympathy...of the staff and its owner; they do make you truly feel welcomed and cherished. I have been there afterwards more than once for the last two weeks, and I do not want to try another restaurant at Felgueiras: there are always different appetizers to try, as well as main courses. If you are in the neighbourhood, and want to eat excellent food do try. PS – they also have a private parking space.
