Vegeto Liko - Sendai

A small vegan caffe in sendai. it was hard to make a booking (called several times must reserve a table) but the eating and the staff are nice. I had a power salad. it was easy to subdue with very small part, but my friends had a meal with soy caraage and that was very delicious. I also had a daily shake (it was with peanut butter) it was ok, but tasted too much protein powder I didn't like.

Only has 1 option for lunch set menu, that consisted of soy meat karaage, miso soup with mushrooms, tofu egg, grilled tofu, salad, vegetables, I think a kimchi soup (that was incredible! and brown rice or bread. Single portions are all very tiny (as it is custom in Japan , but they all really just had the perfect combination of flavours in the mouth and they fill you just the right amount. I also had the desserts samples and although I am usually not a fan of matcha, the matcha cake was super tasty. I enjoyed the atmosphere as well, it felt more authentic and less pretentious than some other vegan restaurant I've been to. There was only 1 girl working there and she speaks very good English.

This small cafe offers vegan dishes. The menu was in japanese but the waitress speaks a little english and explained it to us. We had the lunch set, size M, which was enough for us. It was really tasty ! Really recommand to go there if you're in Sendai !

The owner of the restaurant is incredibly kind. She prepared a custom meal for our gluten allergy without us having to reserve in advance, which is usually necessary. She explained each ingredient in English and it was evident that the food was made fresh. The lettuce, curry, tofu, and everything else were very fresh and delicious. The price of the food is surprisingly low considering the high quality.

This peaceful vegan lunch spot has only 13 seats, so we had to wait over thirty minutes for a table upstairs. It was definitely worth the wait! They offer a daily lunch plate with every healthy detail carefully presented and delicious. The dessert sampler was amazing and we couldn't resist ordering a third one to share. The staff was very friendly too. We will definitely be coming back.
