The on-site restaurant is very southern, lots of fried stuff. But it's very popular among the locals. I pulled in at 2:00 p.m., plenty of vacancy in June of 2024. Seems like there's a lot of full-timers here, probably about half the sites. The other half seem to be available for travelers. Verizon signal here is not very fast, I get about 3 to 4 megabits per second. T-Mobile download speed is slightly faster with 5Mbps download and 15 up. Over the Air TV reception is non-existent. If you have a better antenna than I do, your mileage may vary. I like end spots in campgrounds, so I picked site number 14. Warning : My surge protector warned me that the 30 amp plug has no ground. The 50 amp plug is wired properly, so I just used a 50 amp to 30 amp dogbone adapter and used the 50 amp plug without issue. Site 14 is completely level. I love the concrete slabs. Garbage cans around were all needing to be emptied. We camped at Catfish Round-Up RV Park in a Travel Trailer.

Had the catfish dinner and... read more This was a one and done for me. 2 star is based on service. Seems like a local hangout even though it is right off of the interstate. Had the catfish dinner and it was just ok. The slaw had good taste but really a runny slaw not creamy at all. The fish had really no seasoning and the hushpuppies were dry. Now the best part, the blue haired girl with the baskets of fritters and the trays of rolls needs to be taught service. She bypassed me with the rolls the first time then finally asked her second time out if I would like one. She came out many times with the fritters and never came to my table so I have no review on those. Like I said one and done I will go next door for the Robinsons ham sandwich from now on. Top notch

I went there for lunch and it seemed prett... read more I’m a truck driver and decided to try this place out. They have a huge parking lot with plenty of space for truckers. I went there for lunch and it seemed pretty busy but they still had plenty of parking. I ordered the catfish dinner. I got my food 5 min later Hot and Fresh! It ended up being some of the best catfish I have ever had. Sides are good too. Nothing crazy but they are done well. Definitely will be going back. Parking: Huge parking lot with plenty of space.
