Excellent menu of the day simple but very good fries homemade potatoes, quality meat and classic desserts but delicious recommended stop on the large terrace

Simplissima but effective. reception quite cordial and menu of the super classic day. simple but correct entry (salade) good quality, good quality fals-filet and wine pichet that allows you to drink. short, friend who makes you come back but always happy to have tried.

This place is located in the non touristy village of Semalens about 15mins from Castres. Outside dining in the summer. Easy free parking. Family run and the owners are super friendly. This review is for our first takeaway pizza order. It was ready right on time and was piping hot so a great temperature to eat once back at home. Great list of choices and all pizzas are very generously topped! This place is also fantastic for eat in pizza week day evenings and a superb value week day set lunch menu. Merci C S

This is a local bar/restaurant that offers inexpensive lunchtime meals in a clean, friendly and well organised village location. Locals certainly know of it but visitors seeking a genuine bar/cafe environment are made welcome.. Meals in winter are generally served in an interior dining room, but during the warmer weather an outside area shared with locals at lunchtime is a feature. This is not a glossy plastic bar nor a fake historical reproduction but rather an unpretentious part of its local community.with ample parking available. As an annual visitor to this area I always include a few visits here to enjoy the basic plate of the day meal. Semalens is in the Tarn and in the vicinity of Cambounet, Soual, and Saix with the closest city being Castres.. If you are touring in the area a want a genuine local experience it is well worth considering.
