We had a comfy 2 person room (suggest bring liner or sleeping bag, pillow case to use with the bedding) shared shower (hot water, advised understandably to use a small amount) and one male, one female indoor toilet plus another toilet block. Able to charge stuff in room. Around 25 people can stay in total, I think it was close to full when we were there for 2 nights and cosy but not too busy. Well stocked bar, brekkie 7am, dinner 7pm, silent hours from 10pm. I am vegan and vegan food was not a problem. I would like to have had some more vegan breakfast items as they I didn't get anything swapped for the cheese, ham, eggs and yoghurt others had. Could have peanut butter, porridge with water or oat/soy or water and or for the cereal soy milk (can buy small longline ones for value) or yoghurt for example. Some more vegan items would fit with the sustainability ethos too. Many thanks for our stay.
Fantastic food. Friendly staff with a beautiful location Dinner was beautiful and abundant. Breakfast was better than most restaurants in the valleys. Elderflower sorbet for dessert was the best ! Manuel and Nila were wonderful
Don't expect anything special. It's an ordinary shelter, but deprived of mountain atmosfere and run by people, who treat you like an intruder. Food served here is quite good, you can fill your stomach, but will forget its taste very quickly.
Excellent place to stay, with real character and helpful and pleasant staff. Breakfast excellent. Dinner very good (you get no choice in what you eat other than veggie option, but each dish is very well prepared. Evening meal was salad, then a pasta or soup, the a meat dish. We had Stinko/Schweinshaxe/knuckle of pork which was awesome. Toilet/showers very good. Bedrooms very good. Views outside are terrific, looking over towards Tofana di Roses, the Alps, Sennes group, Cinque Torre, Marmolada, etc Really well located for walks around the Seller group. Next to cable car up from Corvara.
Rude, rude, rude. From the minute we got there, the staff was cold, ignored us and short with us anytime we asked a simple question. Horrible service, treated us like second class citizens. 3 person room, gave us 2 towels, but charged us for a 3rd towel. Offered a taste of assumed free) grappa, but then tried charging us at checkout. When I stated we didn’t order it, and in fact declined it the first time, they retorted “but you drank it!” They also charged us 6x €3 each) for every time they filled the water carafe, even when we didn’t order the water. Will not ever come back.
