Falafel eats like it was a re-fried frozen pattie. Other than that, all our food was excellent! The lamb and feta/Basel burger was fantastic! And the jalapino spice hummus, out of this world! Very friendly staff. We will be back for this place. View all feedback.
What Kody Dean doesn't like about Papouli's Greek Grill:
The food here is consistently delicious. However, I was really frustrated when I ordered a gyro with extra Tzatziki sauce and received none at all. It's particularly disappointing after driving 30 minutes to pick up my meal. It's like serving nachos without any nacho cheese – it just doesn’t make sense. Now I have a dry gyro, which is quite disappointing. Overall, I'd rate the food a 5, but the service and atmosphere... View all feedback.
I've always wanted to try this place, and it definitely lived up to my expectations! The food was incredible—well-seasoned, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The staff were friendly, although it was a bit warm inside; they had fans on, so maybe the AC was out, but that didn't take away from my experience. I visited yesterday and left feeling really happy about how great everything was. I can't wait to go back!
The kitchen staff was AMAZING! I ordered a falafel burger, but realized when I saw it that it wasn't on gluten free bread. The kitchen staff quickly made me another one without the bun (no GF option). One of the Chefs came out to my table, still concerned, to tell me the falafel also had wheat flour (gluten being all wheat, rye, barley products). He felt bad and took it away offering to bring me back a plate of hummus and cucumbers! The meal was saved. I could finally eat! They were above and beyond helpful. Vegetarian options: Hummus and cucumbers for the win!
I’m giving this restaurant 4 stars for a couple of reasons. First, the fries I ordered were a bit lacking in seasoning, but that can easily be fixed with some salt and pepper. Second, they forgot to include our pita chips with one of the combo platters. Despite these minor issues, I think this place is definitely worth a visit! If you’re a fan of Mediterranean cuisine, it makes for a great option for a quick lunch pickup. The atmosphere is not extravagant, but it has a relaxed vibe. We went during lunch hours, and I ordered the gyro lunch platter in a pita, along with a side salad and fries. The salad was simple but flavorful! My husband chose the combo that included a gyro and grilled lamb kabob, along with a pasta salad, side salad, and pita chips. The pasta salad, which is served cold, was incredibly delicious with all its toppings. The prices seemed fair to me, especially considering it features lamb and the current inflation. Personally, I didn’t find it too expensive. Just my take!
A good place to eat everything very rich and delicious
Worst carry out meal ever. Terrible food…chicken kabobs burnt…not charred…burnt! Unable to eat! Salmon potion was ridiculously small for the price. No dressing came on Greek salad (even though we ordered it). Nutella brownies so dry they crumble like they sat out for months. I’m a sucker for spending $75 here…never again!
