Service was surprisingly quick despite there being a line of cars, and the service was just fine. Food: I ordered a conga burrito with cheese. I was pleasantly surprised to find that the burrito was pretty darn good. The carne asada has good flavor, and the included salsas pair well with the food. The menu is overwhelming with options. I would recommend sticking to the burritos here or another staple you enjoy. Overall: Everyone needs a place that's open late with some guilty pleasure food. This is totally that type of place. Worth a try and a nice spot to have in Hillcrest.

They are now offering a great breakfast burrito special. If you order before 10 AM. They have many choices of salsa, if you go inside. The red that is provided at the drive thru is terrific! Not too spicy. Medium spice. I have introduced Colima's to many friends and some drive all the way from El Cajon. Their new handheld checkout in the drive thru makes it faster to get your order, especially when you have only 1 item and the person in front has a multiple-item order.

We were a group of eight and we decided to sit outside since it looked like they were closing up. As they were running out food one if the guys went out of his way to turn on the heater for us when we didn't notice it. The tacos de birria were bomb and passed my girlfriends critique of how she likes her consumé where it is more in the tomato taste side. As for everything else, they were fairly priced and generously proportioned! We will be back if we're in the area!

Their prices are a bit on the pricier side, with... read more Not sure why the reviews are bad, but this is a go-to spot for my boyfriend and I when we're craving burritos. Their prices are a bit on the pricier side, with their Colima burrito at $11, but it's filled with meat and none of the extra fillings (lettuce, potatoes, beans, etc) other burrito joints have. Their guac salsa is so good. I docked it one star off because the last time we went our burritos were on the saltier side. Overall, great spot in north park!
