In choosing our drinks, he gave us the list of what we could choose from. He would check with us to ensure all was good and up to our expectations. Relaxed, friendly, colorful, and clean. We moved to another state in... read more We used to eat at Chuy's all the time and it was always a reasonably decent experience until around 2018, when the quality dropped. We moved to another state in 2020 and just returned to TX a few months ago. Last night was our first return to a Chuy's since pre-covid times. The salsa was as good as I remembered, but everything else was just meh. The service was slow and it was just kind of loud and chaotic even though it wasn't busy. I guess I can't complain too much about a $13.50 plate, but honestly, I can get better food cheaper from local joints, and my money goes to help support local family owned businesses rather than the Red Lobster conglomeration.
