Hello, superb rooms and very warm welcome. A big thank you to the hosts, it gave us a great stopover by bike and refreshed us for the rest...
Always pleasant and friendly! Definitely recommended if you happen to be in the area.
Great place. Charming bosses. To recommend.
Nice to meet you. Managers are very kind and come out of the way to offer a multitude of services: rosalies or pedal karts, flipper, darts, table football, Italian ice creams, pizza evening, apéro boards... and accommodation. I'd like them to continue.
We were looking for a place to eat while visiting the turning bridge in Selles ( a marvelous feat of engineering and worth seeing), and this time turmed in to the restaurant of the same name. It doesn´t look like much, either outside nor in, but has a lot to offer. We decided to try to midday menu for €13, and were amazed at the quality offered. The buffet of appetisers had about 16 separate dishes, of which we tried roughly the half. All fruits and vegetables were of the best quality and perfect ripeness, and all the salads were freshly prepared. There was nothing from a bottle, can, or freezer in their selection. The main course consisted of either steak with pommes frites or fish with rice, and both were excellent, cooked to perfection and wonderfully spiced. The dessert buffet had open face blueberry and apple pies, tiramisu of raspberry, petit pots de creme de chocolat, raspberry, apricot and vanilla cremes and and and. As an exception, too, the coffee was more than just acceptable.I definitely will return because I felt that the food was prepared with skill and passion and this merits a reward. The service was obviouly a schoolgirl working a summer job and tried to do her best. I think if she were told that a few more smiles bring better tips, she might improve. All in all, a very satisfactory experience and a wonderful introduction to an underrated area. Merci pour le bon repas!
