On a recent trip from the UK to Canada we visited our local A&W. It was clean and food was good but the stand out point for me was how polite and friendly the member of staff that served us was. I didn't catch her name but she really made us feel welcome and even brought us over over root beer lollies to take back home with us. She is a credit to you! View all feedback.
That was cold. not for the first time. some tables dirty. I like
A few of us campers needed to do some shopping and Selkirk was not far away, did what we needed to do and hey there 's A&W, we were kind of hungry, so fries, onion rings to share, coffee and the oh so Awesome frosty cold...Rootbeer , everything was perfect! Friendly staff, the manager even got rid of a wasp for us. I guess he couldn 't resist the food either. Great place to stop for a quick bite, and who doesn 't love Rootbeer!!
If you are craving a little different type of fast food and love anything with a root beer, run over to A W! Our crew enjoyed Root Beer floats that took everyone back to their teenage years. Fun little snack shop during your exploration...of the neat city of Selkirk!
I live in the city and there are many A W in Winnipeg. i prefer the drive to Lockport as their veggie burgers are bigger and fresher than the city. and the onion rings are usually fresh and crisp.
Had a running gear thru order. the employee was very pleasant. we got our drinks right away, but they said they had to grill fresh onkel burgerpatties, so they would deliver them to the car together with the wobble rings if they were ready. the smoked. gouda onkel burger was very tasty. tweebel rings were good too. I think the smoked gouda burger should be a protector! very good fast food!
