What Nia Usher doesn't like about Sesame Sushi:
I wanted to like this place so bad but unfortunately it was a really bad experience. I ordered take out everything was horrible. Im assuming the rice was cheap, it was falling off the sushi the sushi itself was falling apart at even the slightest touch. Calamari was just fried flour, no calamari was tasted or spotted at all. Chef Raymond is wonderful ! A very nice family business that prepares excellent food. I just tried to order and found they are closed temporarily, I hope all is well.
I'm so so sad to see they are closed. This is by far the best sushi restaurant on the island. The nicest people and the food is always fresh and good. They also have the best miso soup ever. I hope they come back.
I have been going there for years and have not had a bad experience. The sushi is fresh and the spicy tuna tar tar can not be had anywhere else this delicious . This is 1 of the first sushi restaurants in the area and still 1 of the best. These days I will even drive out of my way for their food.
Sesame is my favorite sushi spot in the Middle Country area and I have tried them all. Food is always fresh and delicious, staff always pleasant. I've ordered from them dozens of times and have never had a single issue. Excellent!
All the comments are friends comments i guess. I went there and waited for 20 min to someone finally said hi to me. And foods are meeh.
