Captain Mac's Fish House Seafood Market

I can't express how thrilled I am that we visited Captain Mac's Fish House! Honestly, it's the best seafood spot in the Ocean City/Fenwick/Bethany/Dewey/Rehoboth area! We've tried numerous restaurants, and I still can't believe we discovered this gem! The seafood is incredibly fresh, straight from the water. We indulged a bit and wanted to sample everything! The Maryland crab soup was fantastic—not overly salty, with just the right spices, enough salt, and plenty of crab. Both the broiled and fried flounder were excellent! You can pick your cut of fish, and they'll prepare it just the way you like. The scallops were plump and juicy, especially delightful when paired with the crab cake upstairs. The corn was fresh and slightly sweet, straight from the farm. The crab cake had minimal filler, allowing the pure crab flavor to shine—just as it should be! We often return here! They offer fresh fish to go and prepared meals like their famous crab diving, which is a must-try! The staff is the friendliest around! They work hard, know their stuff, and are simply wonderful!

I absolutely adore this place! It's my go-to spot for fried oysters, which are always perfectly cooked and served in generous portions. The service is quick and friendly, and the location couldn't be better. The vibrant picnic tables create a laid-back atmosphere, perfect for enjoying a cold Stella (or two) while overlooking the bay. This spot is a must-visit every time we spend time at the beach.

The fish, crabs, and shrimp at this restaurant are fantastic—always fresh and of the highest quality. The fish tacos are absolutely amazing, just like the crabs. I've been visiting this fish house for a while now, and everything has remained consistently excellent; it just keeps getting better. Bruce is definitely my top choice!

Our food was still swimming. Your seafood is the freshest. Watch a beautiful sunset over the bay either inside or outside. I had the lobster.soft Shells were still swimming. Try the Seviche..yummy in a pineapple marina.

Everything here is great. You can always depend on fresh and delicious seafood. Nothing imported!! Also if your looking for steamed crabs this is the place. The prices are the most reasonable in the area. I can always count on them for being consistent in weight and flavor. Bon Appétit
